INDORE - Annapurna Temple, Omkareshwar Temple.

Indore is not a historically important city. Not many tourists wind up here unless they make it a sort of basecamp for excursions from it. Located in the heart of India, Indore is quite hot in the summer but the nights are something special. Excellent tourist destination, during the day a cool breeze starts which makes the evenings quite pleasant.

*Annapurna Temple - four life-size elephants holds an ornately decorative gate in plaster. Inside the complex, apart from the main temple of Annapurna Devi are also temples of Shiva, Kal Bhairav, and Hanuman.

Omkareshwar Temple - about 77 kms from Indore . It is an island on the confluence of the rivers Narmada and Kaveri. The most important being the one housing one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, which has made this place an important pilgrimage centre since ancient times.

Mandu Forts - Mandu is a celebration in stone, of life and joy, A tribute to the love shared between the poet-prince Baz Bahadur and his beautiful consort, Rani Roopmati.

UJJAIN - Mahakaleshwar Temple, Kalvairav, Bada Ganesha.

UJJAIN - is one of the oldest and holiest of Indian cities, Ujjain is situated on the banks of river Shipra. It is one of the venues of the Kumbh Mela.

Mahakaleshwara Temple - located by the banks of river Kshipra, in the dense Mahakal forests in Ujjain. It is an important Shaivaite pilgrimage centre in North India and is revered as one of the 12 Jyotilinga manifestations of Shiva.

Bada Ganpati - Ganesh idol in the world measuring 25 feet from crown to foot. The idol has a most interesting configuration of ingredients; bricks, limestone, jaggery, methi dana, soil collected from the seven mokshapuri: Ayodhya, Mathura, Maya, Kashi, Kanchi, Avantike and Dwarka; mud from the stables of elephant, cow, horse; the powder of 'Panch Ratna' (diamond, emerald, pearls, rubies and topaz) and holy waters from places of pilgrimage.


BHOPAL - Sachi, Birla Temple

Bhopal -is situated around two artificial lakes, is its state capital madhyapradesh. Despite its crowded commercial centre, Bhopal is an attractive place to visit. Enclosed by a masonry wall, the city stands on the northern bank of a large lake with a bridge separating it from the lower lake. The name of the city is reportedly derived from Raja Bhoj who created the surrounding lakes by building a dam or pal. Hence, the city was originally called Bhojpal. Over a period of time, this was shortened to its present name, Bhopal.

Sanchi - is known for its Stupas, monasteries, temples and pillars dating from the 3rd century B.C. to the 12th century A.D. The most famous of these monuments, the Sanchi Stupa 1, was originally built by the Mauryan Emperor Ashoka, the then governor of Ujjayini.

Laxmi Narayan Temple - also known as Birla Mandir, this beautiful temple on the Arera Hills has a museum attached to it, housing a collection of sculptures from Raisen, Sehore, Mandsour and Shahdol districts of Madhya Pradesh.


PANCHMARI - Jatashankar, Pandav caves, Gupta Mahadev

Panchmarhi, - like most hill stations and monuments of India, was rediscovered by a British officer, Captain Forsyth, in the year 1857. He obviously realized that the saucer-shaped valley would serve as an excellent retreat in the summer and truly peaceful environment for convalescing British soldiers.
Pandav Caves - are the famous caves from which Panchmarhi takes its name. According to popular belief, the Pandav brothers spent a part of their exile here.
Gupta Mahadev - this cave is 30 meter long and water is always seeping inside the cave. The source of this water has been traced to a waterfall. In the middle of the cave is a small pool of water. Thousands of pilgrims descend on the Mahadev Temple, during the Shivratri Mela.

JABBALPUR - Marble Rock, Dhuandhara Water Falls, Chausat Yogini Temple

Dhuandhara Falls - The Narmada, making its way through the Marble Rocks, Narrows down and then plunges in a waterfall Rocks, narrow down and then plinges in a waterfall known as Dhuandhar or the smoke cascade.
Chausat Yogini Temple - the Chausat Yogini Temple commands a singularly beautiful view of the Narmada flowing through the jagged Marble Rocks. Dedicated to Goddess Durga.

KHAJURAO - Adinath Temple, Jain Temple, Preshnath

Khajuraho Temples - are the most graphic, erotic and sensuous sculptures of India, the world has ever known. But Khajuraho has not received the attention it deserves for its significant contribution to the religious art of India – there are literally hundreds of exquisite images on the interior and exterior walls of the shrines.

Adinatha Temple - dedicated to the Jain saint, Adinath, the temple is lavishly embellished with sculpted figures, including Yakshis. Which is adorned on its outer walls with carvings of apsaras in a variety of sensuous attitudes and the Javari, with a richly-carved gateway and exterior Group.

Khajuraho Mahamandir - Keach temple here is dedicated to a different deity, and architecturally these temples are unique. Most temples are dedicated either to Vishnu, the premium god of the Vaishnavist sect or to Shiva, the premium god of the Shaivite sect.

Amarkantak - Amarkantak is a pilgrim town and a nagar panchayat in Anuppur District in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India.
